Corresponding special connection tools should be used for various connections of pipelines. Open flame heating is strictly prohibited when connecting. The connection of pe pipes should be of the same grade, pipes and fittings of the same pressure grade, and the connections between pipes and fittings of different grades should be tested to determine whether they can be connected. When performing hot-melting or electro-melting connection operations in cold climates (below -5°C) or high wind conditions, protective measures should be taken, or the process parameters of the connection equipment should be adjusted. When connecting pipes, special cutters or pipe cutting tools should be used for pipe cutting. The cutting section should be flat, smooth, and free of burrs, and should be perpendicular to the pipe axis. Polyethylene (PE) water supply pipelines should be connected with pipes and pipes of the same manufacturer, material, and brand, and between pipes and fittings, and between pipes and pipes. Polyethylene pipes of different SDR series should not be welded.
